The boys both had a great school year. Greg enjoyed his freshman year.  Mr. Moore encouraged Greg to join his Robotics team.  In doing so, Greg learned a lot, made new friends and traveled Indiana to compete in competitions.  His team even earned a trip to Orlando Florida for the Vex World Championship games.  Out of 400 teams Winamac's team, RoboWarriors placed 10th. 

Shawn did well in Mr. Metzger's and Mrs. Wilcox's fourth grade classes. He was a member of the junior football team called The Chiefs. He had a great year and his team was undefeated. He was on the same team as his cousin Matt, so that made his first experience in football even more special. He played as Free Safety and did make one touchdown during the season. He also played on a traveling league for basketball. Both boys like to play baseball, but neither of them want to give up their summer doing it on organized teams....but we've been to the park a lot watching friends play.

My school year was excellent. I had a good group this year and really hate the thought of going back to the classroom in August without them there.
