The boys both had a great school year. Even though 7 grade was supposed to be his hardest year, Greg enjoyed most of his classes and his teachers. He was in Cross Country again this year and did pretty good, but track is where he shined. He is a very good sprinter. He won mostly firsts and seconds for his 100, 200, and 400 relay races. Coach even made him try shot put and he didn't do too bad.

Shawn did well in Mr. Metzger's and Mrs. Wilcox's fourth grade classes. He was a member of the junior football team called The Chiefs. He had a great year and his team was undefeated. He was on the same team as his cousin Matt, so that made his first experience in football even more special. He played as Free Safety and did make one touchdown during the season. He also played on a traveling league for basketball. Both boys like to play baseball, but neither of them want to give up their summer doing it on organized teams....but we've been to the park a lot watching friends play.

My school year was excellent. I had a good group this year and really hate the thought of going back to the classroom in August without them there.
